Venu Udugula, the critically acclaimed director of ‘Needi Nadi Oke Katha’ and Virata Parvam, has announced his first production company, Dolamukhi Subaltern Films, Monsoon Tales along with Rahul Mopidevi. Sailu Kampathi is debuting as a director with this film.
The makers of this film have announced an interesting title ‘Raju Weds Rambai’. This movie is based on a true story and is set in the background of Khammam and Warangal border. Movies based on real life events always evoke a special interest among the audience. Raju Weds Rambai is all set to make a lasting impression.
The title poster features the hero playing a drum with his lover next to him. The title glimpses the girl introducing herself as Yenaganti Rambai who falls in love with the drummer. She likes the way he plays the drums. She says her love story is popular in the coal mining village of Yellandu. It is interesting that she narrates their love story to Tinmar, Do Mar and Nagi.
As per the title, Glimpses Raju Weds Rambai is a beautiful rural love story set in the backdrop of Telangana. With the support of Venu Oodugula, this project is going to provide an unforgettable experience.
Wajid Baig is the DVP and Suresh Bobbili is composing the music for this film. The film is edited by Naresh Adupa and lyrics by Mittapalli Surender. Gandhi Nadikudikar is the production designer.
The makers have announced that Raju Weds Rambai will release on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025. The main cast and other details of the film will be announced soon.
In the title glimpses launch press meet, producer Venu Oodugula said.. Sailu has been traveling with me for three years. One day he said that he wrote a story based on a true incident that happened in their area. After hearing that story I had an extraordinary feeling. Excitement ensued. The many senses in the story, the place where the story takes place, the characters and the conflict between those characters all attracted me. Climax did not sleep for three days. I have never seen or heard such a diverse love story. With a strong intention to make this story into a movie, ETV Win shared it with them. They also felt happy after hearing the story. We have come to you with this collaboration. Now we have released the title glimpses. I am very happy that you all like it.
